1. The Asserter Bond
To answer a market, you must lock a collateral bond (USDC/WETH). This proves you have skin in the game. If you lie, you lose your bond.
2. The 2-Hour Window
Once you assert an outcome, a 2-hour dispute window begins. Any user can lock an equal bond to dispute your answer if they believe you are lying.
3. UMA DVM (The Supreme Court)
If disputed, thousands of UMA token holders worldwide will vote on the truth. The liar loses their bond, which is given to the honest party. Honesty is mathematically guaranteed.
